The survey data is in. Flowers Keller is proud to announce that Kobie Flowers was again recognized as one of the standout faculty members at the National Criminal Defense College (NCDC) Trial Practice Institute for the June 2025 session.
The NCDC Trial Practice Institute, held annually for over 35 years, is widely regarded as the premier trial skills training program for criminal defense attorneys. This transformative two-week program brings together nationally renowned trial lawyers, voice coaches, and actors to teach essential trial skills—from client-centered interviews to closing arguments—through hands-on, small-group exercises and dynamic lectures. The June 2025 session took place in Fairfax, Virginia, and hosted over 100 criminal defense lawyers from around the country and the world.
Survey feedback from those criminal defense attorneys highlighted Kobie as a “great instructor” who helped participants open up and feel comfortable, setting the tone for a productive and engaging experience. His ability to create a welcoming group dynamic was instrumental in teaching the many trial skills over the two-week program.
This recognition is not new for Kobie. He is consistently ranked as one of the best faculty members at NCDC. Kobie has taught at NCDC for over 10 years. That commitment underscores Kobie’s dedication to advancing the art and science of criminal defense lawyering and mentoring the next generation of trial lawyers. His contributions at NCDC reflect the same commitment to excellence that defines Flowers Keller’s mission—defend the accused, vindicate the convicted, and change the system.
